Only 268 of this numbered loco were produced so its considered a very collectable item amongst Wrenn enthusiasts. Has a tiny bit of rub wear on one corner of the tender and tiny bit of paint chip above the valve gear but this in no way detracts from the rarity of the item and is priced accordingly.

Very rare near mint example of Wrenn W2298 loco in BR Green named Royal Scot running number 46100 and being one of only 85 produced in P4. Hammer price of one sold through Vectis was £1000 in 2024. It comes with its instructions, and all packing materials. It has never been run except for testing. Packer number 90416. Its been in storage for many many years so could do with a light service.
It is extremely hard to find and more so in such great order! We have been fortunate enough to acquire this model form a private collection! This was the final version of the Royal Scot Models to be produced and only 85 were produced between 1990 and the end of production in 1992.
The locomotive is complete in every respect and is faultless. Also included is an authentic Wrenn manual and usual holding rings and tissue! The underneath of the inner box is clearly stamped in black packer number 2, date code 90416.
