At The Railway Shed, I pride myself on showing and offering a superb selection of model railways and model trains, mainly the iconic Hornby Dublo 2 Rail and Hornby Dublo 3 Rail 00 Guage trains from the 1950s and 60s with a few pre-war items also included and a large selection of ACE locos, coaches and wagons acquired to my own collection over the last 40 years. With a passion for the hobby and attention to detail, we provide enthusiasts with a unique experience that celebrates the art of collecting. All of our items are available to purchase as I am now downsizing my collection.

I check and test all of our Hornby Dublo locos and rolling stock before listing on the website and then give an accurate and honest description of the item. The item is then checked again once a sale is notified. All 3-rail locos are running checked on our 3-rail layout and all 2-rail locos are checked on a rolling road for both forward and reverse. Many of these Dublo Locos have not been run for many many years so even if they run reasonably well we would aways recommend you give them a service - after all they are 60-70 years old. Many of our 3-rail locos have had a recent service but many of the 2 rail locos haven't so we are working through the list on a regular basis.
