How to Order
Browse through our items and if you find an item you would like to purchase use the EMAIL button at the side of the item to let us know what you would like to purchase. We can then email you back with a total payable price including carriage. Of course you can always email ( if there are multiple items) to sales@therailwayshed.co.uk and we will get back to you with the total amount payable. Choose then from the payment options below....
We can accept the following methods of payment:
Paypal: Please make Paypal Payments to sales@therailwayshed.co.uk We will not ask you to make any payment as Friends and Family as that opens the door to scamming. Please do all payments as Goods and Services so that you and I are both protected.
Cash: If you are collecting your items from here you are welcome to checkover the items and pay cash once you are happy.
Bank Transfer: Please contact us direct if you would like to pay by Bank Transfer.
Card Transactions: A payment by credit/debit card using a card machine can be accepted for in-person sales that are made at the premises or at any events that we may participate in. Alternatively we can send you a payment link to enable payment using all major credit cards.

Postage Costs and/or Collection
All of our smaller items - locos. etc are sent out by Royal Mail. We offer FirstClass, 2nd Class or for high value items Special Delivery options if required.
Costs are as follows:
Royal Mail Tracked 48 Hr up to 2kg £6.00 ( Individual 00 locos, coaches )
Royal Mail Tracked 48 Hr up to 1kg £5.00 ( 00 Wagons )
Prices between locos and wagons postings are different as all of our boxes are custom made double walled and different sizes for us to protect your purchases.
Special Delivery ( Next Day Delivery before 1.00pm) £10.50 up to 1kg including up to £750 compensation in the event of loss/damage.
Special Delivery ( Next Day Delivery before 1.00pm) £13.50 1kg to 2kg including up to £750 compensation in the event of loss/damage.
Special Delivery ( Next Day Delivery before 1.00pm) £20.00 2kg to 10kg including up to £750 compensation in the event of loss/damage.
Any 0-Gauge Locomotives will be posted out ( if you are unable to collect) at a cost of £20.00 Post and Packing by Special Delivery in our custom made boxes.
Any 0-Gauge Coach Sets ( 3 units ) posted out at a cost of £16.00 Post and Packing.
Larger items and high value items we would prefer you to collect direct from us so as to avoid any un-necessary damage while the items are in the delivery system. This is usually for larger loco sets such as 0-Gauge and Dublo Sets etc. You can arrange collection by emailing us and arranging a mutually suitable day and time for collection. Regardless of the size or value of your item we will ensure that all items are suitably packed. The costs above are subject to change.

What to do if you have a problem?
I like to treat any customer as I would like to be treated myself so I take a lot of pride in the service that is offered to our customers and the reviews and testimonials that I receive. However sometimes things happen outside of my control so the aim is to resolve any query as speedily as possible to the customers satisfaction.
