Triang Princess Elizabeth in lovely Green livery. Cosmetically in excellent condition and it runs really well when tested on a rolling road. This is a nice example of an early model. Both the loco and tender are boxed though the boxes are battered a bit as you would expect after all these years. But they are all there with the usual tape and scuffs.
The Triang Hornby Blue Pullman Set is becoming increasingly sought after and prices are starting to rise for nice examples. The contents of this set as in really nice condition and have been well looked after. The box top picture is very good but the sides of the box show much more signs of wear. The engine is awaiting testing as it currently refuses to run :)
This listing consists on vintage 00-Gauge ROVEX Princess Elizabeth steam locomotive, tender, two off coaches, and box of track. These would all have come from a 1950s set produced by Rovex. ( Later to become Triang). The locomotive and the tender are both in excellent condition and both are in their original boxes. The coaches are also boxed - while the boxes are superb the roofs on the coaches have bowed due to I believe the materials used in the plastics of the time. I have Graham Farish coaches from the same era with the identical issue. The rest of the coaches are in great condition for their age. The track included from the set is also in its original box and complete.
Item has not been tested and is sold as a collectable piece of railwayania.
